:)I'm on 35mg of concerta 2x a day and i find that when the meds where off the ADD becomes 10x worse. I'm unable to focus, i zone out and often unable to complete simple tasks like cooking bacon. I get easily distracted.
Has anyone else noticed their symptoms getting more worse when the meds where off?
I'm contemplating just takin myself off of the meds and finding alternative ways to treat ADD---I've been on adderal and welburtrin before-tired and fed up

I wonder if you could take your meds so they wouldn't wear off until you've gone to sleep. I had the same problem with ritalin. My doctor prescribed ritalin along with wellbutrin. I am able to take the ritalin late enough so that it wears off after I've gone to sleep. And the wellbutrin help me relax enough to go to bed when I should.
I wouldn't rule out using alternatives in addition to, or instead of prescription drugs. Behavior management, tai chi, meditation and aerobic exercise are all methods I use in addition to my meds. And, I do pretty well.
If you haven't already, definately let your doctor know about the problem, it's called rebound effect. See is he or she has any options to offer. Best of Luck.
