You get out your textbook and notebook to study for an exam. You open up to the right page and then realize that you need a pencil. As you're looking for a pencil, someone IMs you. You look to see who it is and start talking to this person about that really hilarious character in the movie you saw last night. Then they sign off and you turn back to your books to start studying again. Then you realize that you need a pencil. Once you find your pencil, you read three sentences in your book and then start laughing to yourself about that movie. You go back to reading and read the next two sentences 6 times each before you remember that you've been meaning to check your bank balance all day. You turn to the computer and pull up Internet Explorer. It opens to CNN and you notice a really interesting headline about pigs. You read that story and then continue to read up on the news since you haven't gotten a chance to all day. Then you turn back to studying. But where's your pencil? Oh yeah, it's sitting on the desk where you left it when you went to check your bank balance, and oh yeah you didn't do that, so you turn back to the computer and check your bank balance and then look at the clock and are shocked to see that somewhere between sitting down to study and checking the clock, 47 minutes have passed and you've only read 5 sentences.

Oh no, I'd forgotten what it was like to study. I just applied to go back to school in January. Maybe I shouldn't? LOL
