Driven to Distraction (Halloway & Ratey) was fantastic. Just thought I would mention, they have a new one, Delivered From Distraction. I haven't read it yet, but it went on my Christmas list immediately.

My wife has "Driven To Distraction" , we haven't read it all yet, but so far my wife likes it. She likes that it was written by two people who have ADD lol, it makes her feel good to know that they were able to write a book even with ADD . However I personally thought it was lacking in the "treatments" department. It doesn't have much in that regard, especially if you are seeking alternative treatments to medications. I'll have to keep my eyes out for the others you mentioned

A book that's really helped me is called "What does everybody else know that I don't?" I've raved about that book since I got halfway thru it. Also, "Romance and ADD" is good reading for those of us in relationships.

"Driven to Distraction" and "You Mean I'm Not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy?" are both great books. Driven was a little harder to read as far as ADDers go. And I liked the second because it wasn't about medications. I'm not ready to start that bit yet, and even with meds we need ways to help us help ourselves.

I went to the ADDA conference last week-end. Wow! Anyway, I met Peggy Ramundo, one of the authors of You mean I'm not crazy lazy or stupid. She told me they are putting out a second edition of this great book soon. Of course she laughed and reflected that soon was relative, being an ADD woman herself.
I'd keep my eye out for it. I'm really looking forward to it myself. It was my first book on ADD. And, IMHO, fantastic.
