Some one please post here ! Thanks TRacey P
Hi Tracey,
I joined a little while ago, and honestly forgot about it, lol. My ADD causes me to forget lots and lots of stuff, but thank goodness nothing horrible has come of it. I don't know what I'd do with out my day planner! I like to talk about ADD issues. I'm on the U.S. East coast, depending on where you are, maybe we can chat sometime. I'm online at night, usually between 9 pm and midnight. I didn't know I was ADD until my oldest child was diagnosed. I sure wish they treated this back in the 70"s when I really could have bloomed with treatments. Well, better late than never, right? At least my adulthood will be better socially than my child and teenhoods. I did so-so in school, but socially I was a joke. By the time I was a teen, I was into bad boys and anyone who would hang out with me. Drugs became an issue, and there were a few times I just wanted to die. It was like the world hated me and I didn't know why. To make a long stry short, I began to get help, and then meds. I also read a book called "What does everybody else know that I don't?" It literally changed my life!! Today, I have a nice circle of friends, the best relationship with a man I've ever had (divorced twice) and I'm really generally happy for the most part. It's amazing how such a thing like ADD can turn our lives upside down! At least my rough roads lead to a happy adulthood. Because of where I've been emotionally, I appreciate every little or big blessings i have. Anyway, hope I haven't bored you.
